W.S. Tyler offers woven wire filter cloth solutions that fit the casting industry perfectly. When producing aluminum, for example, sodium aluminate must undergo extensive filtration before being converted to metallic aluminum that we see every day. Failure to properly filter out the smaller particles that originate from the raw form of aluminum can result in an inefficient production line or, more importantly, potentially dangerous product failure.
As woven wire filter cloth is highly durable and can withstand extreme heat, it can also be applied when casting various alloys. In addition to providing accurate filtration, woven wire filter cloth can also be used in casting molds to extract air to prevent faults within the final product.
