HIFLO – High Flow Filter Weave
MINIMESH® HIFLO-S filter weave corresponds to the pore size range of the MINIMESH® SPW-S. By utilizing very fine wires woven in plain weave, a high number of pores per unit area is achieved.
This allows a very high throughput rate with small pore sizes. The MINIMESH® HIFLO-S filter weave is a surface filter, which means the smallest pore is determined by the distance between the weft wires and not by the pores within the three-dimensional filter weave.
Cleaning, back-flushing, and strength are similar to the MINIMESH® SPW-S filter weave. As a rule, MINIMESH® HIFLO-S is used for filtration jobs that require high throughput rates with low filter medium contamination levels.
Pore size range = 15 μm to 40 μm
