
Reverse Plain Dutch Weave
Like the MINIMESH® SPW-S, the MINIMESH® RPD-S Reverse Plain Dutch Weave is a plain weave filter mesh but has a reversed wire diameter arrangement. Thin warp wires are positioned close to each other, and the thicker weft wire is woven in at a defined distance.
The resulting higher strength in the warp direction makes MINIMESH® RPD-S popular as a filter belt. Moreover, this versatile reverse plain Dutch weave is used in applications requiring specific acoustic properties, mechanical robustness, and high throughput for filtration.
